Inc. 5000 ranked SUPERB Industries, Inc. among the top 400 fastest growing manufacturers in the United States in its annual ranking of fastest-growing private companies, in 2008. The Inc. 5000 list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy. “The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young, underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth,” said Inc. 5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan.

Our manufacturing innovation drives the growth that landed SUPERB on the Inc.5000 list. A business alliance with Indus Concepts to take the Latticell Knee Bolster, a safety system that does for knees during a frontal collision what an airbag does for the upper body, to the entire North American market, and other major projects, are expected to continue to increase our growth over the next several years. “We have been blessed with double digit growth in a very difficult manufacturing market. Superb people, a commitment to excellence, and just plain hard work have been key success factors,” says President John Miller. We have committed to continued manufacturing excellence by investing in a skilled trades apprenticeship program certified by the US Department of Labor. The program is managed and mentored by on staff journeymen and supplemented with instruction at Buckeye Joint Vocational School.

The Inc.5000 companies that made the list reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion. Most important, the 2008 Inc. 5000 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 826,033 jobs since those companies were founded.
