Ohio Governor Honors SUPERB
Governor Ted Strickland invited the principals of SUPERB Industries to a reception honoring recipients of the INC5000 fastest growing companies' award.
Sugarcreek, Ohio-The principals of SUPERB Industries, Inc. were invited to a reception on December 9, 2008 hosted by Governor Ted Strickland to honor recipients of the INC5000 award. Each year the INC5000 compiles a list of underreported companies doing fascinating things with cutting edge technology. The Governor invited the principals of Ohio companies that made the 2008 list to his residence to exchange ideas and meet his economic development team.
The Governor addressed the ground acknowledging the difficult economic situation but stated, "I want you to know that we stand right by your side as we go through these difficult times." Throughout the course of the evening, the honorees were able to meet one on one with Governor Strickland, Lieutenant Governor Lee Fischer, and Assistant Director of Economic Development Mark Barbas to discuss challenges and opportunities.
"It was both an opportunity and an honor to meet the Governor to accept his recognition on behalf of the SUPERB team that made the recognition possible in the first place," said John Miller, President of SUPERB. "Having the opportunity to meet with his economic development team was also valuable--particularly in the current business environment."
