About > People > Pit Crew

Our SUPERB Rapid Response Press Crew, or “Pit Crew” is a teamwork approach to minimizing press downtime. The idea is modeled after the pit crews in car racing. Just as a racing pit crew stages tires so they are positioned for quick change, the SUPERB Pit Crew stages material, tooling, and packaging supplies so that press downtime is minimized during a changeover. We have demonstrated that a setup can be accomplished in less than 30 minutes with a Pit Crew of a press technician, a material handler, and two die/press setup members. The Pit Crews keep our presses running with maximum efficiency to deliver unbeatable value to our customers.
