SUPERB has complete in-house capability to build high-speed tool-steel and tungsten carbide dies to exacting standards. We pride ourselves in giving attention to detail and using only the finest materials to construct our dies. We know from experience that the quality of parts produced is only as good as the tool used to produce them.

However, a quality tool is only part of the equation. Our QS9000 certified Tool Management System ensures that all tools are always maintained and stored in a state of readiness so that we are prepared to meet customer requirements.

Our experienced journeymen tool and die makers confidently build and maintain tooling when 20-millionths-inch tolerances must be met. Our climate-controlled grinding rooms are kept at 69°F (± 1°) to ensure consistency in measurement. We use tungsten and titanium carbide and technically advanced coatings to ensure highest quality tooling available.

Our comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance system for production tooling ensures maintenance at the individual detail level of the tool. A database linked to the production data of each die, tool or mold generates a Tool Service Work Order, which determines exactly which punches, cavities, or sections should be sharpened or serviced after a tool has completed a specific number of strokes in a press. This level of attention to detail reflects SUPERB’s overall commitment to producing the highest-quality products, beginning with superior tooling.
